I have seen Montel Williams on several TV shows, Your World with Neil Cavuto & The Wayne Brady Show and I was very happy to see your display of honesty. I am glad that you have brought your experiences to the attention of the general public.

It was very good to show how MS and neurological conditions in general can vary greatly. There is great ignorance in general society to MS and neurological conditions and how much they can vary. Case in point was how you have myalgia, Neil does not.

I don’t know yet what exactly my case is, but I know that it’s neurological and I suspect MS. Fortunately I don’t have any pain, but my legs are pretty much useless. Most people incorrectly assume that all MS cases are remitting. It’s true that RRMS is more common, but progressive cases like mine that are frequent. My condition has always gotten worse, it has never gotten better, but people expect me to be like the people that they see.

The first thing that I hear is that you don’t appear to be ill. But you speak about things that affect you that can’t be seen.
