May Terri rest in peace
March 31 2005
This morning Terri Schindler (Schiavo) died. I hope that she finds peace and I want to express my thoughts and prayers for her and her good family that have lived through this tragedy.
Terri’s death will never be in vain. I have heard some people predict that this will result in a new law, something like Terri’s law. I think this issue will go much further than that. While this may result in new laws this issue brought to light an issue that has been recognized by a few and even has been written about. The true failure in this case is the breakdown of America, the American judicial system and the support of a brainwashed American public.
This issue is NOT a states rights issue without precedent and this issue is NEITHER a traditional POLITICAL NOR is it an issue of an organized RELIGION. This is an issue about humanity. While this case can’t be split along traditional political party lines there is a political movement at hand that supports the culture of death that spans political parties and religious defining lines.
This is not the first time that America or the world has dealt with this issue. The most famous was Nazi Germany, but at the time in the earlier 1900’s Nazism had roots in the United States and Nazism in America is alive and well today.
The Terri Schindler (Schiavo) case deeply disgusts me and I hope that as America‘s sorrow fades awareness of the culture of death and its existence is not forgotten. In that spirit Terri’s death may not be in vain.
