Jessica, Kelli, Michelle, Kevin and Tony all first met during the "Popstars" show on ITV. They made it to the last ten but missed out on becoming "Hear'Say" - and thank god for that! Instead of having to sing cheesy poppy songs they get to write their own stuff, and sing great tunes that are different from anything else around.
Liberty being formed was entirely the bands idea, and they are by no means manufactured.
So, with after writing some material, Liberty set about finding themselves a record deal. They had many offers, but deserved the best. So they plumped for V2 - Richard Branson's record label. They had been crying out for a good band and now they have one.
Since then Liberty got a top 5 single with "Thinking It Over", "Doin It" is going to be even more successful and a hit album is on the way, named "To Those Who Wait" - could that name be a dig at Hear'Say? Probably, and who can blame them.
