Liberty, one the funkiest R&B/urban bands in the UK, are currently rehearsing in London for their first live shows since their successful High Court name trail against the members of 'Liberty X' and Richard Branson's record company, V2. They will be playing UK and European shows in the Spring of 2003.
Liberty are also adding the final touches to their brilliant new album which was interrupted for six months by the court case last year. One of the new tracks, 'Music Is Me (We Got The Groove)', has been remixed by top London Kiss 100FM DJ Chris Philips.
The album, recorded at Liberty's own studio, is produced by the band and, as musicians, all the tracks are performed and written by the band.
Making subtle reference to the band name problems last year, Liberty's guitarist David Lyall says:
"We are currently considering names for the new album. One suggestion is 'Taking Liberty's With An X-Virgin'."
