What's so interesting about busses, trains and taxis
in GTA?
Why make a site about GTA's public transport vehicles?
I think they're an interesting and important part of
the GTA series. First of all, they're a common part of a city, and so they are
in GTA, trying to imitate a real city's streets.
Don't forget it must have been quite some effort for
DMA (Rockstar) to include public transport into the various GTA games - the
trains, reliably stopping at their stations and spitting out crowds of innocent
people, the busses in GTA 2 appearing at bus stops of the Great City, the taxi
jobs in GTA III's Liberty City…
Just remember the original GTA, hijacking a train and
ramming it into the second train on the track, or the Kill Frenzy with the
Jesus Bus parked under San Andreas' bridge. Remember GTA 2, collecting
passengers in a bus to have them killed by your gang's soldiers for whatever
reason. Just have a look at the fast & fun taxi jobs of GTA III. Only
remember the fun and havoc to terrorize exiting train passengers or to take a
bus for a casual joyride.
This site is dedicated to the effort DMA (Rockstar) had
and the fun we had with any kind of public transport vehicle in any GTA game.
