Other Public Transport Vehicles in GTA
Here's whatever else can be seen as a kind of public transport vehicle in GTA.
GTA:
The Missing Tram
Where to find?
The Tram sprite can be found in the files
"style002.g24" and "style002.gry". The rails are in the
northern districts of San Andreas.
Comments:
I assume DMA planned to include the tram into the
game, but then didn't for some reason.
GTA III
Passenger Planes
Where to find?
Francis International Airport (Shoreside Vale) and
flying the skies of Liberty City.
Comments:
The planes taking off and landing at Francis International Airport aren't solid, you can drive right through them. The parked planes are solid, but they are indestructible and not very exciting to interact with.
Bus Wrecks
Where to find?
Junk Yards in Saint Mark's (Portland Island)
Comments:
There are several of these wrecks on Liberty City's junk yards. Interestingly, the wrecks don't look like the busses out in the streets, but rather like the Liberty City school busses of GTA 1. This makes rather clear who has wrecked all these busses…

Where to find?
Behind 8-Ball's in Northern Saint Mark's (Portland Island)
Comments:
Carriages of a freight train seem the be rotting at the junk yard. The damaged rails lead into a tunnel which ends behind the supermarket near Portland Harbour. We could imagine that in the past of the GTA universe, these rails were leading to the port facilities.
