Oxfam work with the poor of many nations, providing the means for them to live a better life through teaching skills to local people. They also run and promote the "Fair Trade" products (such as coffee) ensuring people get a fair wage for their work.
Feed the Children a Christian organisation providing food, clothing, and medical aid to children worldwide.
National Coalition for the Homeless work to provide justice in housing, economics, health care and civil rights.
Salvation Army USA provides food and shelter for the homeless in every country they have a presence in.
International Committee of the Red Cross aids those suffering in war, and upholds the rule of just law in all countries.

Real-World Churches
Salvation Army (USA) evangelical church whose main peculiarity is their military style of dress, lack of communion services, and strong focus on humanitarian endeavours.
The Church of England (Episcopal) Website for the centre of the Anglican communion worldwide. The state religion of England (not Scotland), headed by the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Queen. See also the Scottish Episcopal Church
The Church of Scotland Presbyterian church mainly based in Scotland, though with holdings elsewhere. The state church of Scotland, headed by the Moderator of the General Assembly.
The Free Church of Scotland not to be confused with the Church of Scotland, this is a more conservative breakaway group. Similar to the Free Presbyterian Church of Scotland.
The Vatican, centre website of Roman Catholicism (though there are more informative ones)
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America evangelical, liberal Lutheran church with an ecumenical outlook.
Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod not to be confused with the ELCA, this is a more conservative Lutheran body.

Online Ordination Sites
United Christian Faith Ministries offers online ordination upon completion of a selection of Biblical tests. Accepts ordinands from any tradition and none, so long as they comply with a statement of faith.
The Universal Life Church not a strictly Christian ordination site, though it has many Christian ministers. They offer legal ordination in the United States, and it can be completed within minutes from their site. Also see the Universal Life Church Christian Fellowship (ULCCF), which lists Christian ministers ordained by the ULC.
Universal Ministries offers interfaith ordination online.
The Church of Seven Planes offers interfaith ordination, their motto being "One God, Many Names".
