This story was written by Robert Reguly and published in the 'Ontario Outdoor Report' of the July / August 2001 edition of 'Canada's Outdoor Sportsman Magazine' distributed to all members of the "National Firearms Association" Along with the NFA Magazine "Point Blank". I am posting it here, because I think its important to know that the organizations that are most in favour of "Artificial Crime Prevention" by disarming duck hunters and sports shooters, seem to flaunt the law themselves, and try to continuously conceal where they get their money. If the CCGC does not release this information 'BY LAW' (They are probably funded by the Liberals anyway), we will finally be rid of this whole pain in the ass organization that hates to be confused by facts, and continues to pump out lying statistics as the truth.

The Canadian Coalition for Gun Control faces dissolution this year unless it finally heeds government warnings to file a backlog of annual reports. The coalition created by Wendy Cukier, has apparently neglected to file a single annual report, as required by the Canada Corporations act, since it was registered in 1992. The filings are supposed to tell where the money comes from and how it is spent. Cukier refused to explain her organizations dereliction.

"I am not answering your questions because there are very serious reasons. I am not at liberty to discuss with you," Cukier stated when asked why she had neglected to file and if she intended to do so.

The coalition was one of the corporations proposed to be dissolved in a list carried in the December 23, 2000, edition of the Canada Gazette. It has until December, 2001, to file the missing annual summaries to "regularize it status" Richard Shaw, director-general of Industry Canada's Corporations Directorate, said in a letter to George Barkhouse, operator of Charity Watch. Corporations face dissolution if they are in default of filing for two years. Curiously, a default notice was sent to CCGC in 1996, but no further action was taken.

Also on the hit list for dissoloution for failing to submit reports are: World Wildlife Fund Canada, World Wildlife Fund Foundation and the International Wildlife Coalition. Both the WWF and the IWC were prominent in the political campaing that succeeded in ending the spring black bear hunt in Ontario.
