| Form a shape from pipe cleaners to make the ornament. (Tree, angel, snowman, etc.) Tie a piece of string or fishing line to the top of the ornament. Tie the other end of the string to a pencil or dowel. Use a jar that is wide enough to accomodate the ornament or 2 liter bottle with the top cut off to lay the pencil on and hold the ornament up. Prepare the liquid to pour over the ornament by boiling the water. After the water boils add the Borax and stir until dissolved. Pour over the ornament covering just the top of the ornament. Let sit for 24 hours. After 24 hours remove the ornament and let dry. They turn out beautiful. |
