We are very sad to pass on the news that Milo passed away earlier this year. He was a great kitty and his loss deeply affected our family and friends. Many students knew and loved Milo. He was a friendly face around the school campus since 1995 in the classroom and provided unconditional love to the students. We would like to continue to pass on the Milo story to those that are interested in reading.

Hello, my name is Milo. Welcome to my page in Mrs. Puls' website. I also attend school. I first met Mrs. Puls at school under different circumstances than most students usually do.
It was a very cold and rainy day. I was just a young kitten but had always wanted to go to school. So, I decided to follow some children to Red Hawk Elementary one day. I didn't realize that my presence would cause such a commotion. I was immediately scooped up by Mrs. Onstott and Mrs. Henneman, they were animal rescue at that time. After many days of trying to find which family I belonged to, they discovered that I was lost and without a family. I became a Red Hawk kitty and I went home with many different teachers every weekend. Soon, it became difficult and I made my permanent home with Mrs. Puls.
I have always attended school with Mrs. Puls when the children are not allergic to me. My favorite part of school is silent reading. No, I think maybe the wonderful lunches that the students bring are my favorite.  I love so many things about school I think that it is too difficult to decide what I like best.
I have learned many things at school. I know that  students love to read to me when I sit in their laps during silent reading. I know how important school is, and I feel very privileged to be able to attend. I even learned a trick to show the kids. I know how to roll over when I am told. (Don't tell Mrs. Puls, but I only do it for the treats she feeds me. Pounce!) If you would like to see me roll over, choose the roll over button below. Thank you for letting me share my story with you. Continue to visit me at my site. I have wonderful stories to tell.
