Winbench®96 Results

Most of you guys are Windows95 users, right? Here are some benchmark results from my own system. Keep in mind that Winbench96 scores are highly system dependent. You won't be able to compare my numbers with yours. If you'd like to see DOS/VGA benchmarks, click here. And remember, the purpose of these benchmarks is to evaluate MCLK's suitability for different Windows display-modes, not to compare video chipsets.

Description of the test videoboards

Trident 9680 "TVGA-9680" PCI, 1mb onboard EDO DRAM (NEC 424210A-60, two SOJ 256x16 package)
S3-765A "Color Max" PCI, 1mb onboard EDO DRAM (Siemens HYB514265J-50, two SOJ 256x16 package)
second mb of both boards = SEC (Samsung) KM416C256BJ-6 EDO DRAM (two SOJ 256x16 package)
All boards tested under Windows95, using Winbench96 v1.0, using the same machine configuration (only change was the swapping of the video board.)
