Here's a message I got from an MCLK fan who figured out how to overclock his Creative Labs Graphics Blaster3D MA332 (GD-5464) through the MA332's Windows95 drivers! The Win95 drivers set the GD-5464's clock registers to values stored in the system registry. *** PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR SYSTEM REGISTRY BEFORE PROCEEDING! ***

If you want a NO COST modest performance upgrade for your GB3D
(Laguna) card, here's how to do it! This process involves changing
information in your system registry! By performaning this procedure
you will be Clocking your video card BEYOND the Board Manufacturers
recommendations! - Do this at your own risk!
OK, now that's out of the way the stops involved are as follows:
1) From the START button select run and type in "REGEDIT"
2) Use the Search function and search for the word "LAGUNA"
REGEDIT will find entry for CIRRUS LOGIC, with a sub-entry called
Laguna. Under Laguna is an entry for PERFORMANCE.
3) Performance will contain keys for: ClockSpeed (Default is
16, below the recommended max) Min (Default is 16). Max (Default
is 18). Exotic (Default is 0).
4) Change the Max setting to 20! (This allow tweaking of ClockSpeed
5) Change ClockSpeed to 18, or 19!
Numbers above 19 created artifacts on my Hi-Res/Color Screens.
**** DO NOT SET ABOVE 22! ****
**** Blank Screen will Result, you'll need to BOOT SAFE to Change
it Back ****
6) Change Exotic to 1 (I think this helped)
Thats it
