5 Homework:
Write
a narrative poem about Gatsby’s meeting with Daisy. Make sure your poem
describe how the meeting is among and how each one feel.
It
rained heavily.
Gatsby
came to Nick’s house to inspect everything to make sure that the tea goes
perfectly.
He
dressed befittingly and waiting for Daisy’s coming quietly.
The
clock was two minutes to four.
Gatsby
was impatient and he couldn’t wait anymore.
But
he was advised by Nick’s words.
Daisy
was coming.
Nick
went outside to greet Daisy and brought her come in.
Gatsby
was nowhere to be found, he wasn’t in.
He
went outside even it was raining,
So
that he could make a dignified entrance when Daisy’s and his meeting.
Gatsby
and Daisy looked at one another in awkward surprise.
They
felt uncomfortable.
Gatsby
even said to Nick “This is a terrible mistake, a terrible, terrible mistake.”
He
was tremendous anxiety.
Nick
slipped out the back of his house.
He
sat under a tree in his backyard until the rain stops about a half-hour later.
When
Nick went back into house,
Gatsby
and Daisy were more comfortable than before,
And
every vestige of embarrassment was gone.
Daisy’s
face was smeared with tears,
Gatsby
was suddenly relaxed and confident.
The
three decided to go to Gatsby’s house.
During
their tour of Gatsby’s extravagant mansion,
Daisy
was wide-eyed with wonder and awe upon seeing Gatsby’s house.
Gatsby
got Klipspringer to play the piano for them.
When
the music was going,
The
expression of bewilderment had come back into Gatsby’s face.
It
was raining again,
Now,
Gatsby and Daisy were too engrossed in each other to realize anything else exists.
Nick
slipped out of the house and left the together.
