GENERAL
The Technical Member, in conjunction with the Leeward Islands Athletics Association (LIAA), which shall afford him/her all necessary help, is responsible for ensuring that all technical arrangements are in complete conformity with IAAF Technical Rules.
The member shall ensure that current Technical Rules and Regulations are issued to all competing Members in good time before the competition.
ORGANISING COMMITTEE
The member shall assist the Championship Organising Committee with respect to all Technical matters.
PRE-COMPETITION REPORT
The member shall submit written reports to LIAA, as appropriate, on the preparations for the competition. The report should include but not be limited to the following:
� Review and propose the arrangement for heats and finals.
� Proposals for the timetable of events for all meets
� Review of the condition and standard conformity of implements to be used
� Officiating sufficiency and quality
(An Officials course is suggested for all hosts prior to the competition. The member is expected
to assist in the formulation and conducting of the course.)
� Facility preparedness
TECHNICAL MEETING
The member shall attend the Technical Meeting and shall advise the host Association as required.
COMPETITION REPORT
The member shall also submit written reports on the competition. The report shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following:
� Entries and scheduling
� Communication (Information dissemination)
� Officiating standard
� Scheduling of events
� Posting and announcing of results and other information
� Facility preparedness
� Call system efficiency
� Transportation arrangements and efficiency
� Security arrangements and effectiveness
� Medical Services efficiency
� Photo-finish results
