Kurvin Wallace
left the Federation on Wednesday 11th February, for the United States, to pursue his goal of competing in an Olympics Games, the 2004 edition in Athens in August.  Kurvin will be training in an attempt to qualify in the 100 and 200 metres while based at McKendree College, Illinois. He also intends to be a member of the Kitts & Nevis 4x100 metres relay team, that will attempt to qualify for the Games (they must be one of the top sixteen (16) teams in the World to qualify).

Kurvin, who is a recognised top athlete in the Leeward Islands, was financially assisted by the Nevis Island Administration, through the Ministry of Youth & Sports and the St. Kitts/Nevis National Olympic Committee.  He is also a recognised gospel singer and a winner of the Palm Music Awards in Nevis (see photo) . More details of Mr. Wallace's training stint will be posted shortly, including details of his upcoming competitions.
