Momoko tossed and turned in her bed.  It was 8:30
in the morning.  "Yanagiba-sempai....." she drooled
with a childish smile.
  
 Suddenly, there was that face again that always
seemed to wreck Momoko's dreams about Yanagiba.
Yousuke smiled and held out a rose to Momoko; at the
same time, the vision of Yanagiba disappeared and
Momoko looked around violently for him.
  
"Yanagiba-sempai!?  YANAGIBA-SEMPAI!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
 
 Riiiiiiiiiiing....riiiiiing....  Momoko tried to
ignore her alarm clock as she slowly woke up from her
dream with an open eye.  Riiiiiiiiing...  Momoko
covered her head with her pillow for a few seconds.
RIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!  "Ok! OK!
I'm up, GEEZ!"  she snapped at the alarm clock.  It
stopped vibrating and stood quietly on her night
stand.
  
 Momoko sat up in her bed with a big yawn and gazed
around her room.  "I wish it was Saturday...." she
said wearily.  Suddenly the phone rang and she heard
her father pick it up from the kitchen.  She got up
and walked out of her room.
  
 "Eh? Nani?  But it's Saturday, I'm not supposed to
do labor on weekends!!!" she heard her father yelling
at the phone.  Momoko's ears perked up.
  
 "Saturday?  I thought it was Thursday..." she said
to herself pulling out some bread from the break box.
Momoko's father hung up the phone and handed her some
jelly from the fridge.
   
"Gomen, Momoko, I have some shootings to do
today...  Therefore I can't take you to the icecream
parlor like I promised on Tuesday..."  her father
sighed. -_-; <- Momoko's father.
  
 "It's alright, papa!" Momoko said cheerfully, "We
can do that tomorrow!"  ^.^ <-Momoko.  Momoko's father
smiled back and was satisfied that his daughter
understood he didn't mean for their day plans to
change.  "You can call one of your friends, neh?" he
called from his room while getting his camera
equipment.
   
"Hai!  Yuri or Hinagiku must be home, I'll call one
of them and we can get together today," Momoko replied
cutting her sandwhich in half.
  
 "Alright then, Momoko.  Have fun today."  her
father waved as he opened the door.  Momoko waved
back.  He was gone.
    
"La...La...La la la..." Momoko dialed her friend
Yuri's phone number.  Yuri's mother answered, "Hai?
This is the Tanima residence."
   
"Eh, is Yuri home, this is Momoko."
   
"Hai, Momoko, let me get her for you!"
  
Momoko finished her glass of milk with her sandwhich
and put her glass in the sink.
  
 "Moshi moshi?" Momoko heard Yuri's voice.
 
 "Konnochiwa Yuri-chan!!  It's Momoko.  Are ya doing
anything today?"
  
"Oh, hey Momo-chan.  No not doing anything.  Have
you heard about the carnival at the park in town?  I
was thinking maybe you, me, and Hinagiku could go
together,"  Yuri said thoughtfully.
  
 "Great idea!  You call Hinagiku, while I get ready.
 I just woke up about an hour ago because I thought we
had school.." Momoko giggled.  Yuri laughed, "Okay,
we'll meet you there."  They hung up and Momoko ran to
her room to pick out something to wear.
   
 She opened her closet and pulled out some nice
dark blue jeans she had just bought last weekend from
her visit to the mall with Hinagiku.  She pulled her
jeans on along with a kawaii pink halter top
polka-dotted in the shape of a sunflower in the
center.  Momoko looked at her reflection in the mirror
and blew a kiss.  "I knew these jeans would look nice
on me!"  She walked back out through the kitchen and
to the coat closet to get her jacket.
  
 Momoko decided to wear her lavendar, pink, and
white fleece jacket and pulled it out of the coat
closet.  Suddenly there was a tiny squeal and a fuzzy
little creature appeared on Momoko's shoulder.
"Jamapi!" Momoko giggled patting the creature's head.
"Konnichiwa Momo-chan!  Just thought I'd drop by and
say hello," he smiled.  Momoko smiled back.  "I'm
going to a carnival today."
  
 "What's a car-knee-valt?  Is it some type of
torture device..." Jamapi's eyes widened.
  
 "CarnIval, and no, no, far from it!" Momoko
giggled.  "It's a fun place to go with friends for
food, games, and rides."  Jamapi sighed with relief
that his friend wasn't getting suicidal and that he
now knew what a carnival was.
  
"Okay, well I'm off.  Have fun!" Jamapi started to
disappear.
 
 "Ja ne, Jamapi!" said Momoko zippering her jacket.
And she was off to the carnival.

 
 "Momoko, over here!" beckoned Hinagiku and Yuri.
Momoko crossed the street and entered the park.  She
walked up to her two friends.  "Hey guys!" "Yo,
Momoko!" said Hinagiku.  Yuri couldn't help but smile,
"Stupid rhyme."  Hinagiku stuck her tongue out.
  
 "Ah you're wearing those jeans you bought last
weekend." Hingaku pointed at Momoko's pants.  Momoko
nodded, "They're nice, neh?"
  
 "Yeshumz," Hinagiku answered.  "Oh Momo-chan,
you'll never believe what special event is taking
place at the carnival today at 1!!!"  Yuri said
suddenly because she almost forgot to tell her friend.

  
 Momoko questioned, "Nani?"  "Our school's soccer
team is going to play against Juuban's on the
field!!!" ^.~ <- Yuri and Hinagiku.  Momoko's eyes
twinkled and she practically screamed, "Really?  AND
YANIGIBA-SEMPAI'S GONNA BE HERE?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"

   People from every direction were gawking at the two
odd girls standing in the entrance of the park who's
friend had just screamed an out burst.
"Momo...chan...." Hinagiku and Yuri said embarassed.

"Eh? What? Nani?" Momoko said looking from left to
right swiftly as Yuri and Hinagiku pulled her away
from the entrance.
  
 "Nevermind... But let's go on some rides already!"
Yuri said with a smile.
  
 "I want food...." grumbled Momoko  "And I want to
play some games!" Hinagiku protested.
   
 "Bu-bu...." Yuri shook her head slowly.  "Here
we'll split up and then meet back at the Mirror Mad
House."  she suggested pointing to the Mirror Filled
maze to their left.  "Alright, good idea!" Yuri and
Momoko agreed.  And so they headed off in different
directions.
  
 Yuri went over to the Skat, a ride where you stand
up against a cage-like wall with other people and go
really fast around in circles so that gravity pushes
you up against the mat of the wall/cage you're leaning
on.  At times, it made people really dizzy, but it was
Yuri's favorite ride.
  
 Hinagiku went over to the balloon popping game and
paid a dollar to use three darts. She missed on the
first two, but for the last try, she was determined to
get it right.  She closed one eye, winking, and aimed
carefully at a green balloon in the center of the
board the balloons were attached to.  Hinagiku swung
her arm back and let go of the dart as it came
forward.  "POP!"
   
 "Hey little missy...Nice job, would you like a
prize?"  "Hai!" Hinagiku smiled.
 
 "You're good." said a voice from behind her.
Hinagiku turned around and saw Yanagiba, the captain
of her school's soccer team and most girls' idol from
her school as well.  She stuttered a bit, but finally
managed to say, "Ar-arigato, Y-Y-Yanagiba-sempai!"
Yanagiba chuckled because he could tell she liked him,
just like so many other girls.  'Oh, Momoko and Yuri
would hang themselves to be complimented by this
hottie!' Hinagiku thought to herself with a proud
grin.
  
 Meanwhile Momoko took the cotton candy from the
nice cotton candy person's hands and thanked them.
Just as she was about to turn around and walk away,
she bumped into someone and almost fell back.  "Well,
well, well, if it isn't little Momopi shoving her face
with goodies.... This surely isn't a surprise," said
Youske taking the last piece of Momoko's cotton candy
and eating it.  "Mm good..." he said as Momoko
growled, "HEY! I PAID FOR THAT!"  Youske chuckled and
pinched Momoko's cheeks, "Don't be mad.  Consider it a
favor, I saved you from becoming any fatter than you
already are!"
   
 "I...AM NOT FAT!!!!!!!!!!!!" she said smacking him
upside the head.
   
 "Ow!" he whined.  "Use what little intelligence
you have for more important things than bugging me,
Youske!!!"  Momoko said angrily.  Just as she was
about to storm away, Youske grabbed her hand and
pulled her towards the Mirror Maze.
   
"Alright Momopi, let's have a race.  There are two
entrances of this mirror maze thingy, we'll both enter
opposite entrances, and see who can get out first." he
suggested.  Momoko blew some bangs up with her breath
and said, "Fine!  I'll beat you any day!"
   
With that, they both handed the ticket man tickets
and ran in the entrances at the same time.
    
 Momoko started to walk around and was doing
pretty well so far. "I'm gonna get out of this thing
before you do, Youske-san....
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA- ouch!" Momoko
banged into a window.
