This dress was finished at Double Wars XVI (2005) and I wore it to one court at that event. Wearing it showed a flaw in the construction - namely the front closing principle. With it laced close the closed skirt did not show up to best advantage and in time for Visby Medieval Week 2005 I split the skirt down the front and had finished a shirt to wear underneath it. The shirt still needs ruffs, and the kirtle needs hooks and eyes in addition to the lacing.
