It has been years since anyone has spoken a word involving the incident at Quio Bio-Technologies. Oh, best loved Childe, you don't remember? I guess that's expected; you were young then. I guess you still are. You know, that if I had known you were only 17 I would never have Embraced you. I know, I know, I got to you before and I knew you were 17 when I Embraced you, but I was between a rock and a hard place!
Well, I had to feed, and your beard made you look at least 25. I try not to feed on people under 20, you know, as I have taught you to do. Not many 17 year olds have a full beard, but still, you are my best loved Childe, and you have proven most wise..... for a seventeen-year-old. Well, I guess you'd be 20 now.

Oh yes, you asked what happened there three years ago? Well, it's not too clear. I wasn't involved. Actually, I only know of one of us who made it back. She tends to keep to herself. People say she suffers from dementia and what's worse, one of her fangs was broken off during her escape, or so I'm told. I believe she has a hard time feeding. I've always wondered what happens to a fang that is removed.
