-A virus is a structure made up of mostly nucleic acid, which it injects into a host cell. It ranges in sizing from 100- 2000 *astroms. (* astroms- a unit of measurment equal to 10-10 meters.
-An example of a viruses family name is adenovirdea.
What is the general structure general structure of a virus?
-All viruses have two basic parts: they are an outer caot that protects the virus and an innner core made of genetic material they inject intoa host cell.
Explain why scientists do not agree on whether or not it is alive.
-They do not agree because viruses do not grow, or reproduce like living things do, but they use cells as an energy sorce proving they have some living characteristics.

Other Facts:
- Viruses exsist only to invade cells and reproduce themselves, usually destroying the host cell in the process.
- One thing is for sure; viruses are very much a part of life on earth and the human experience. Viruses infect animals, plants, and even bacteria.
