Grad Night meeting will be on 10/16 at 7:00.

We could use help with the AP luncheon, which benefits Grad Night. The
luncheon will be on 10/19. Joe Mason and Kathy Vita are organizing it.
Preparations will start at 7:00 am, lunch will start around 1:00.
-
Karen Jolly reported on the budget:
-
We took in $3135.
-
We approved money for perfect attendance and Mr. Gernreich's planter.
-
She used last year's expense for this year's estimate for the AP luncheon.
-
She estimated $600 income for eggroll sales. We made a net profit of $1500
last year.
-
We will present the planter to Mrs. Gernreich at the start of next month's
meeting.
-
Dues are $10 now. We proposed raising the dues to $15.
-
The scholarship goes to the top male and top female in the senior class.
They must prove they are going to college. Mr. Funk said that Amanda Bush
can provide the list of eligible students. They need to be a PTSA member.
We need to decide on a criteria. It could include community service. We
could get Mr. Roark involved. The executive board will give a recommendation
at the next meeting.
-
$2000 is available for mini-grants. There is no procedure to give it away.
Mr. Funk said the Lincoln board had a form fo rmini-grants. We should see
what it looks like. Castillero gives $75 per teacher. The teachers must
put in requests. Hoover does something similar.
-
Lore Osaki-Horii nominated Jan Finger to be our auditor. She was approved.
