The LHS Color Guard took home honors from two competitions recently. On Saturday, Oct. 4, and on Tuesday, Oct. 7, the LHS Color Guard accompanied the LHS Marching Band in their first competitions in more than 15 years.
On Saturday at Pocahontas, Ark., the Guard recieved two trophies at the Redskin Classic Marching Competition; the first for a superior score and the second for third place in division AA.
On Tuesday in Paragould, Ark., the Guard received two more trophies; the first for superior score and the second for first place outstanding color guard in division A.
Also at the Paragould-McDonald's marching competition, the Guard achieved the second highest score out of all the competing guards at the competitions.

Saturday, October 4, and Tuesday, October 7, the Liberty High School Color Guard accompanied the Liberty High School Marching Band in their first competitions in over 15 years.
Saturday, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the Guard received two trophies - the first for a superior score and the second for third place in division A.
Tuesday, in Paragould, Arkansas, the Guard recieved two more trophies - the first for a superior score and the second for first place, Outstanding Color Guard in division A. Also, at the Paragould competition, the Guard achieved the second highest score out of all the competing Guards. The Color Guard is sponsored by Christy Fudge.
