The LHS Color Guard is hosting a Color Guard Camp for anyone in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 in Feburary, 2004.
How it works and where it is:
Both boys and girls will be released from school at 2:45 and transported to Liberty High School bus every day of the camp. There they will learn the fundamentals of spinning a flag. Each child will recieve his or her own personal flag and a camp t-shirt. Every day the children will need to be picked up at LHS at 5:00.
The kids will also be performing with the LHS Winter Guard for the halftime show of the basketball game on Feburary 24. They will need to meet in the LHS Gym at 5:00pm on that date.
What it costs:
The entire camp cost is $35. This covers your child's flag, t-shirt, and the camp fee. Make all checks payable to Liberty High School.
When it is:
After school Feburary 17, 18, 19, 20, and 23. Be sure to turn in the forms BEFORE JANUARY 30, 2004. Performance is on Feburary 24 at 5:00pm in the LHS Gym.
Why we're doing it:
The LHS Guard wants to help elementary and middle school-aged children become involved in extra-curricular activities. They want to give these children the chance to do things that seem out of reach, and a chance to learn what it takes to become performers and shine on their own.
We need your child's height to know how tall pole to order.
Let your child pick his/her favorite color of flag and pole!
The form will not be accepted without a parent's signature.
