Grad night is over. The grads who went had a great time. See here for pictures from Grad Night!
Get ready for Grad Night 2004!

Who: Lincoln High School (San Jose) seniors (only). In past years, we have had up to about 240 seniors come.

What: Miniature golf, gas-powered racing cars, bumper boats with squirt guns, LazerTag, arcade games, motion simulator ride, a dance floor, DJ, karaoke, sketch artist, and more. New this year: we will also be featuring a hypnotist, who will mesmerize and entertain you.
Why: To have safe, drug-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free fun after graduation! For many students, this may be the last chance that they will have to see so many of their fellow students in one place and party with them.

Where: Camelot Park (now Boomers), Livermore

When: After graduation, Monday June 16, 2003, 11:30 pm - 6 am, buses leave from Lincoln at around 10:30 pm and will return around 6:30 am. Students need to be at the school for check-in at 9:30 pm. See here for more instructions.

How: Buy tickets. Last year, they were $60 each. This year's price will be determined by the Grad Night Committee. The park is charging us $65 per student. We will offer a discount to those who buy tickets early. Tickets purchased early will cost $60. They will be $65 after that.

About Camelot Park: Camelot Park/Boomers is an amusement complex in Livermore. We have held Grad Night here since 1997, including last year. It is off Hwy 580 near the Livermore Airport. It has a racing track with gas-powered miniature race cars. It has a small lake with powered bumper boats, complete with squirt guns. There are 2 18-hole miniature golf courses, with plenty of mobile and water hazards. Outside is a motion simulator ride. Indoors is a Lazer Tag arena. It has a large arcade area with lots of video games, driving games, and carnival-style skill games. There is an area for dancing and tables for dining. We are looking at getting other entertainment. We will have the entire park to ourselves. Outsiders will not be allowed in. No one will be allowed to enter or leave the facility during the event.

Transportation: Private chartered luxury tour buses will pick up the students at Lincoln and will take them to Camelot Park, which takes about 40 minutes. Use of the buses to and from the park is required.

Tickets: Tickets must be bought beforehand. Ticket sales will start at a time to be determined by the Grad Night Committee.  We can offer incentives and raffle prizes to ticket buyers. Ticket prices include charter bus transportation.Food will be provided. Students will receive a keepsake memento. For students from low-income backgrounds who want to go to Grad Night, but cannot afford it, "scholarships" can be awarded, depending on the success of fundraising efforts. (See the Lincoln Outreach Office.)

Help Wanted
Students, to make Grad Night happen, we need help from your parents. Talk to them. Ask them to volunteer. Students can also help and earn volunteer hours.

Parents click here for more information about Grad Night and how you can help.

Grad Night Committee meetings: There will be no more meetings this school year. We need your help to plan for next year's Grad Night. Stay tuned!  Committee members or people interested in helping, see our Committee Information page.
