Bunnie Lou Emmerd
Services for Bunnie Lou Emmerd, 58, Twelve Mile, will be held
at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She died at 12:35 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in her residence.
Born Nov. 17, 1948, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Rudolph and
Rosalea Neher Strauch, and she attended Logansport High School. She was
married Aug. 23, 1966, to Carl M. “Mike” Emmerd, who survives.
She was a housewife, and her favorite things included cats, flowers,
crossword puzzles and bingo.
Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Shane and
Melinda Emmerd, Decatur, Ill., and Glenn and Gina Cunningham, Peru; two
daughters and a son-in-law, Kristee and Chris Ulerick, Lexington, Tenn.,
and Fawnia Emmerd, Greenfield; a sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and
John Minglin, New Waverly; nine grandchildren, Austin, Lexi, Robert,
Thomas, Hunter, Haily, Ryan, Cayla and Tyler; and several nieces and
nephews.
The Rev. Scott Ellison of Wheatland Avenue United Methodist Church will
officiate at the services.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
