Logansport - July 1980- Bill Scagnoli, 30, of 715 Madison Street died at the scene of a car accident on US 24 at 5:55 a.m. He was born August 16, 1949 to Raymond and Martha Eller Scagnoli of 905 Linden Avenue. Both of whom survive. A veteran of the US Air Force, he was a member of the American Legion. He was employed at Rockwell International and a member of the United States Steel Workers Union Local 3261.

He was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Andrea J. Scagnoli; two sisters, Barb Neece, Royal Center; Nancy Zagajewski, Logansport; the maternal grandmother, Helen Eller; one niece and one nephew and several aunts and uncles.

Services at St. Bridget's with Father James Goodrum. Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
