conducted by his family and friends will be held for Richard H.
“Rick” Beaulieu, 58, Rochester, formerly of Logansport, at 6 p.m.
Thursday in Kroeger Funeral Home. On Saturday, Sept. 22, a celebration
of life and golf benefit will be held at the Rochester Elks Lodge, 2506
Country Club Drive South, Rochester. He died
at 12:08 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, in Ohio State University Medical
Center, Columbus, Ohio. Born Feb.
3, 1949, in Logansport, he was the son of Hudon and Caroline Wright
Beaulieu. He was married Dec. 23, 1971, in Logansport, to Patricia L.
“Trish” Riemenschneider, who survives. Rick was
a 1967 graduate of Logansport High School and graduated from Purdue
University’s School of Pharmacy in 1978. Rick also had attended Ball
State University, where he played varsity football. Rick had been
employed as the director of pharmacy at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru.
He also had been employed at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. He was a
member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. An Eagle
Scout, Rick was a member of the Rochester Eagles, Elks, Moose and
American Legion at the time of his death. He
enjoyed golfing, football, bowling, boating and fishing. He loved the
water and being near the lake. He especially enjoyed spending time with
family and friends and adored his granddaughter. Surviving
are one son, Dr. Brittin A. “Britt” Beaulieu and his fiancé, Michal
LaSpina, New Haven; one daughter, Erin E. Marden and her husband,
Joshua, Rochester; granddaughter, Lilah Jane Marden; nieces and nephews,
Bill and Kelly Riemenschneider, Indianapolis, and Chelsea
Riemenschneider, Logansport; great-niece and great-nephew, Alexa and
Drew Riemenschneider; and sisters-in-law and their husbands, Julie and
Jeffrey Green, Kewanna, and Randi and Mike Howington, Lakeland, Fla. |
