| Kobe went to Lower Marion High School where he set many records. On the average he had 30.8 points, 12 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 3.8 blocked shots, and 4 steals per game. Amazingly, Kobe had a total of 2,883 points during his four year span of playing Varsity basketball. If you think that this is unbelievable there is more. He was voted USA Today and Parade Magazine's National High School Player of the Year. Kobe wasn't done with his record setting career yet, he beat records set by Wilt Chamberlain, the first and only man to score 100 points, and Carlin Warley. All of these records were accompanied by a 31-3 record and a state title. Kobe was also named Naismith Player of the Year, Gatorade Circle of Champions High School Player of the Year, and made the McDonald's All America team. |
