| Salvete omnes! Welcome to the website for the Lauralton Hall Latin Club. Lauralton Hall's unique mission is to foster a community atmosphere enriched by the mercy tradition to educate young women to pursue knowledge, to recognize truthe and to respond to the needs of others. This club is affiliated with the National Junior Classical League and Honor Society (NJCL). Our biggest activity of the year is State Latin Day. Two thousand students from all over the state gather at Holiday Hill in Cheshire for a day of fun and competition. Everyone, including teachers, dresses in classical attire. There are contests in mythology, grammar, history, culture, poetry, speaking, chariot races, catapults, sports, projects, and many workshops.
