I hope to use this site as a means of keeping those that I care about across the country updated as well as a central place to dump all my photos and web links.
I'm a native of Woodstock, IL where I was born and raised for 18 years. I then headed west for college at UC Santa Barbara where I received a double major in Geography and Environmental Studies.
After college I spent a month and a half in Costa Rica, then packed up my '89 Ford Probe Hatchback and drove north to San Francisco. I began work for the U.S. Geological Survey's Coastal and Marine Department as a GIS Analyst, where I worked from 2001-2008.
I am currently completing my thesis at San Francisco State University to obtain my Masters Degree in Geography. I am due to graduate in 2009.
Vivek and I finally tied the knot on June 7, 2008! It was a sunny and pleasant day in San Francisco at the Fort Mason Officer's Club. We then took an amazing honeymoon to Greece which we will never forget.
The most exciting addition to our lives is the arrival of our first child. Our son, Cason Abell Bhatia was born on June 1, 2009! |
