LAKESIDE HEIGHTS GIRLS GUIDES DISTRICT EARTH DAY PROJECT 2002

Our Second Annual Earth Day Service project was a resounding success just like last year. District Guider Sue has done a wonderful job of organizing a great event. The turnout of Sparks, Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders and Senior Branches was fantastic.

Way to go girls, guiders and parents!!!!!

The girls arrived at the Ecomuseum at 10 o'clock and worked until noon. They folded tarps, raked leaves, cut down brush and collected it up. (If you were there and I missed something, please email me and let me know.. I will add it.....Michele)

They went inside and enjoyed the lunches they brought and then enjoyed walking around looking at the animals and seeing the people that came from outside with their crafts.

Great day had by all!
