Activity Report 1999-2000

 Camped under canvas in October 1999 at Lakeside Heights District Camp.

Two girls camped with Pathfinders in June International camp at Ausable Chasm. Some girls did Bronze Duke of Edinburgh.

Bring a friend downhill Ski Camp at Morin Heights in March

Two girls attended Jam des Neiges in Quebec City

Two girls attended Y2K camp at Morin Heights in June.

Several girls helped out with Canada Day activities

Several girls marched in Millennium Parade

Some girls attended Ft. Lennox with their units.

Remembrance Day Parade

Helped out at Lakeside Heights Tea & Bake sale.

Movies & Munchies night for Pathfinders from entire Cabana Area.

Over 173 girls attended. Money for WAGGGS initiative plus Walker fundraising.

Presented Walker to Pointe Claire Public Library with Lakeview Division in May 2000.

Attended Lakeside Heights Advancement June 11

Some girls participated in Earth Day Worm Composting event at Lakeside Heights with their unit.

Some girls attended Area Training Day

We held our enrolment at a meeting

We helped with Christmas baskets for two Districts.

Several girls are working on Duke of Edinburgh Award at variouslevels.

One girls received her Silver Award.

Several girls participated in Guides On The Internet at Concordia

During Guides On The Air several girls talked to Brownies in New Zealand & several American Amateur radio operators.

During the Open House at Scout Centre girls helped with toboggan run.

Girls & Guiders attended the Thinking Day variety show at Lakeside Heights District.
