Getting to know you: traced each others hands, played name games, read Sparks story, learned the promise.

Enrolment preparation: made invitations, rehearsed skit, made decorations.

Thanksgiving: made Indian craft, played parachute games.

Fall theme, collected leaves did leaf and bark rubbings.

Halloween : went on a neighbourhood walk to see all the decorated houses, read participation story.

Halloween party, snacks, costume parade, everyone had an award, pl

ayed a stop/go Halloween safety game.

My body : made a growth book that will be updated at the end of the year. Song head and shoulders using different body parts, round robin of movement games.

Active day : parachute games, learned active songs, tried to be active in all parts of the body. Practised Christmas carols

Hygiene meeting: dental hygiene with Karen Daley, practiced Christmas carols.

Christmas craft night: card rubbings made for seniors. Christmas party: made chocolates, gift exchange, brought in toy to donate to the needy, pizza supper.

Theme friends: story about best friends, guessing game, collage and stencil craft.

Celebrated and learned about Chinese New Year: made red envelopes and Chinese flags. Found out what animal year we were born in, read story and ate Chinese cookies with chopsticks.

Olympics: made an Olympic torch, played shadow games.

Winter Olympics: outdoor meeting. Played hockey, sliding, snowshoeing, and skiing. Had opening and closing ceremonies, and hot chocolates and medals.

Valentine's Day: made crafts, heart butterfly and wove heart shaped basket.

Thinking Day: played a participation story, made craft, Guiding hearts, had a make believe plane trip to the 4 world centers.

Beach party: made footprints with pain, limbo, had make believe swimming races, had lemonade and cookies picnic.

St. Patrick's Day: relay race with veggies, read a story Rabbit Stew, made craft.

Recycling Day: learned about water cycle, acid rain, what gets made from recycled goods. Made musical instrument from recycled goods.
