Everyone begins to applaud when Jax and Julia walk through the door.
The waiters begin to circulate with trays of champagne and juice as Jax and Julia go around and mingle with their friends.
Mackenzie: (hugging Julia hard) �You did it, sis!�
Julia: �I couldn�t have done it without you dressing me and supporting me.�
Alexis: (hugging Jax) �I�m so happy for you guys!�
Ned: (giving Jax a hug) �Now don�t get drunk tonight, buddy.�
Jax: �I could say the same for you, Ned. You too, Stefan.�
Stefan: �I take no responsibility for anything that happened at your bachelor party.� He gives Jax a hug. �Congratulations.�
As Julia and Jax move on, Ned puts his arms around Alexis�s waist from the back and
holds her close.
Alexis: (smiling) �Ned, where are our daughters?�
Ned: (pointing across the room) �With Kimberly and Scott.�
Alexis: �That was such a beautiful wedding.�
Ned: �I can�t wait to see what they think of my present?�
Alexis: �You mean the presents we bought them? Why?�
Ned: �No, something else. I just thought of it last week.�
Alexis: �Tell me!�
Ned: �Sorry. You�ll find out when everyone else does.� He laughs as she sighs.
An hour later.
Everyone is eating a dinner of angel hair pasta with parmesan cheese, cherry tomatoes and fresh cilantro, Caesar salad, lemon broiled chicken breasts and spring vegetables.
The bridal party is sitting at the head table, except for the little kids. Serena is with Gail and Lee, Avery, Christabel and Brooke are with Nikolas and Emily and Lucas is with Mac and Felicia.
Ned: (sliding his hand up Alexis� thigh) �You look ravishing in that dress.�
Alexis: �Thank you. You look pretty... delectable yourself, Mr. Ashton.�
Down the table, Kimberly and Scott are laughing into their wine glasses.
Kimberly: �I hold you responsible for this.�
Scott: �It�s not my fault! You lured me into the minister�s office, Kimberly!�
Kimberly: (lowering her voice) �All in all, it was pretty fun.�
Scott: (grinning at her) �I know. But prepare to be teased by Ned and Alexis.�
Kimberly: �Oh, I wouldn�t expect anything less.�
Over at the table where Edward, Lila, Monica, Gregory, Morgan, Nikolas, Emily and the three flower girls are sitting.
Avery: (pointing at something on her plate) �Nikolas, what is that?�
Nikolas: �A cherry tomato. Try it. It�s good.�
Avery: �It�s all shrunken.�
Emily: �Avery, it�s good. Believe me.�
Avery just pokes the tomato with her fork and frowns a little.
Edward: �So, Monica, when are you and Alan divorcing?�
Monica: �He hasn�t signed the papers yet.� She pauses. �And if you�re going to get all judgemental on me, let me be the first to say that I don�t want to hear it.�
Edward: �Actually, I don�t blame you one bit.�
Monica: (disbelieving) �Excuse me?�
Edward: (shrugging) �I understand what you�re going through, Monica. Alan needs help, and he needs to get his life in order.� He smiles a little. �And regardless of everything we say and do, we do love you, Monica.�
Monica: (touched) �Thank you, Edward.�
Edward: (to Gregory) �Treat her good. She�s one in a million.�
Gregory: (smiling at Monica) �I believe that.�
Lila: (to Brooke) �How is your soccer team going, my dear?�
Brooke: �Great! We�ve only lost two games!� she smiles. �You should come and see me play sometime, Grandmother.�
Lila: �I would love to.� She smiles at her great-granddaughter.
Morgan is staring off into space across the table. Monica notices this.
Monica: �Morgan?� no response. �Earth to Morgan!�
Morgan: �Huh? Oh, sorry, Monica. What?�
Monica: �You looked like you were off in space.�
Morgan doesn�t say anything. She just smiles to herself.
A half hour later. Everyone has finished dinner.
Jax: (getting up) �May I have this dance, Mrs. Jacks?�
Julia: �I would love to.�
They get up and head to the dance floor. Everyone gathers around.
Just as Jax waves a finger at the DJ to cue up the music, Ned steps onto the stage.
Ned: �Jax, Julia, you two are my best friends, and I wanted to give you a memorable wedding present.� He smiles. �Congratulations.� He waves a finger at the DJ, who hits play on the stereo, and walks off the stage and back to Alexis.
The opening of �I Do Cherish You� by 98 Degrees blasts out.
Jax takes Julia in his arms and they begin to dance.
Just then, the members of 98 Degrees walk through the door, dressed in black suits, holding microphones. They begin to sing. Jax and Julia are shocked.

As the music fades away, Jax leans down and gently kisses Julia�s lips.
The room goes crazy applauding and screaming.
Nick: (of 98 Degrees) �Julia, Jax, Congratulations.�
The band smiles at the audience and walks quietly out of the room.
All eyes turn to Ned, who just smiles innocently.
The DJ cues up another song and everyone begins to dance.
Ned: (pulling Alexis into his arm) �I love dancing.... with you, of course.�
Alexis: �Ned Ashton, how on earth did you pull that off?�
Jax: (coming up behind them with Julia) �I would be interested in knowing too, Ned.�
Ned: �I know their manager from back in my Eddie Maine days.� He smiles. �And when you told me that you were using one of their songs for your first dance, I gave them a call and arranged for them to stop here during their layover tonight. The band is on their way to Philadelphia for a concert tomorrow.�
Julia: �Ned, I don�t know how to thank you.�
Ned: �No thanks necessary.� He smiles. �The look on your face was payment enough.�
Jax: �Ned, may I dance with you wife?�
Ned: �Of course, as long as I can dance with yours.�
Jax takes Alexis� arm and Ned takes Julia�s. They begin to dance to �Unforgettable.�
Jax: (swaying with Alexis) �You have a pretty nice husband, you know.�
Alexis: (smiling at Ned over Jax�s shoulder) �Yeah, he�s not bad.�
Jax: �You two truly are an amazing couple.�
Alexis: �What do you mean?�
Jax: �You and Ned are so in love. You�re the couple that we all look at for an example of what a marriage is supposed to be like.�
Alexis doesn�t say anything. She just starts laughing.
Julia: (to Ned) �You�re a wonderful man, Ned Ashton. Alexis is one lucky woman to have you as her husband.�
Ned: �You�re not so bad yourself, Jules.� He smiles. �It�s funny. You and I were terrible as a couple, but we�re great as friends.�
Julia: �I know.� She smiles. �You�re one of my best friends. And I will never forget your wedding gift to me and Jax. Hiring 98 Degrees makes you my new favorite person.�
They smile at each other and continue to dance.
A little while later. Maxie and Morgan are standing together by the punch bowl.
Maxie: �Just do it, Morgan! You have nothing to lose!�
Morgan: �Yeah, nothing except my dignity when he says no.�
Just then, God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You begins to play.
Maxie: �Morgan, you have to ask him.�
Morgan: �Fine. But if he says no, you owe me five bucks.� She walks across the room to where Nikolas is sipping a glass of wine. She is shaking a little. �Hi, Nikolas.
Nikolas: �Hey, Morgan.�
Morgan: �I was wondering... well, you don�t have to say yes, but this is such a great song... and I was wondering..."
Nikolas: �You want to dance with me?�
Morgan: �Yeah, kind of. You don�t have to if you don�t want to.�
Nikolas: (setting his glass down) �I would love to.� He takes her hand and leads her to the dance floor. They begin to dance together.
Across the room, Monica and Gregory, dancing together, notice Morgan.
Monica: �Uh oh. I think that somebody has a little crush.�
Gregory: �Morgan? Have a crush on Nikolas? You�re kidding, right?�
Monica: �All teenage girls have infatuations with older men.� She smiles. �I was madly in love with all of the Beach Boys.�
Gregory: �That�s a whole different ballpark, Mon. They were on the radio, far away from you. Nikolas, however, is dancing with my daughter, who is going to flood the ballroom with her Cassadine induced drool in about ten seconds.�
Monica: (laughing) �I love you, Gregory.�
Gregory: �I love you too, Monica.� He leans down and kisses her.
Just then, someone pulls them apart.
Monica and Gregory look up in surprise at Alan, dressed in a rumpled white suit.
Monica: �Alan! What the hell are you doing here?�
Alan: �Why didn�t anyone invite me to the wedding?�
Monica: �Leave now, Alan! Before I have someone throw you out!�
Alan: �You�re still my wife!�
Monica: �I am not! I stopped being your wife a long time ago.�
Gregory: �Alan, leave before this gets ugly.�
Alan: �Uglier than you sleeping with my wife? Leave her alone, Fortino.�
Monica: �Don�t you dare threaten him, you big stupid brute! Leave!�
Alan: �I�m not leaving without you, Monica.�
Just then, a pair of strong arms grab Alan. Taggert and Mac apprehend him.
Taggert: �Sorry about this, Monica. I�ll see him out.�
Monica: �Thank you, Taggert.�
Mac: �Alan won�t be coming back here tonight, and let us know if he starts bugging you again.�
Alan: (yelling) �She will never be yours, Fortino!� he snarls as Taggert leads him out of the ballroom and throws him out.
Across the room, Alexis is sitting at the table, sipping a glass of juice, when Emily sits down next to her.
Alexis: �Hey, Em. Where�s Nikolas?�
Emily: �Dancing with Morgan.�
Alexis: �How sweet. Did you see Ned and Scott out there dancing with Brooke and Serena?�
Emily: (in a low voice) �Alexis, I need to talk to you.�
Alexis: �About what, Sweetie?�
Emily: �I think I�m pregnant.�
Alexis: �Excuse me?�
Emily: (unhappily) �I think I�m pregnant.�
Alexis: �You and Nikolas... you... did you... never mind.� She pauses. �Did you tell your mother about this yet?�
Emily: �No. she�s too busy with Gregory and Morgan to even care.�
Alexis: �Emily, she loves you.�
Emily: �I thought that you were a good choice to talk to.� She pauses. �You�re my aunt, well, my cousin... Alexis, I�m scared.�
Alexis: (giving her a hug) �Have you told Nikolas?� Emily shakes her head. �Well, the first thing you�re going to have to do is take a pregnancy test.�
Emily: �Will you help me?�
Alexis: �Of course. I�m glad you came to me.� she smiles a little. �And we�ll get you a test tomorrow, okay?�
Emily: (relieved) �Thanks, Alexis. I knew I could count on you.�
Just then, Nikolas comes up and extends a hand to Emily.
Nikolas: �May I have this dance, Miss Quartermaine?�
Emily: �Of course.� She smiles. As they start to walk away, she turns around. �Thanks for everything, Alexis. I love you.�
Alexis: �I love you too, Em.�
Ned: (coming up behind her) �Who do you love, other than me?�
Alexis: �I was just talking to Emily.� She gets up and puts her arms around him. �Have I told you lately that I love you?�
Ned: (kissing her neck) �You look sexier than hell tonight.�
Alexis: �I can�t wait to get home and...�
Ned: �Who says that we have to wait?� he presses against her, becoming aroused.
Alexis: �Ned! We can�t exactly do it on the dance floor.�
Ned: (whispering in her ear) �Do you want me, Alexis?�
Alexis: (whispering) �Yes.�
Ned looks deep into her eyes and then takes her hand, leading her out of the ballroom. He pauses in front of the women�s bathroom.
Alexis: �You ARE kidding, right?�
Ned: �Ever since Kim and Scott in the minister�s office this afternoon, I�ve felt like being adventurous. Are you up for it?�
Alexis: �No!� she laughs. �But I have a feeling that that isn�t an acceptable answer.�
Ned: �You�re right.� He pulls her through the bathroom door and into one of the stalls.
Alexis: (as Ned unzips her dress, sucking on her earlobe) �This is insane.�
Ned: (sliding her dress off) �Memorable.�
Alexis smiles and unzips Ned�s pants. She slides them down and runs her hands over his lower body.
Ned: (moaning) �Alexis, if I don�t make love to you right now, I�m going to die.�
Alexis: �Well, I wouldn�t want that to happen.� She smiles at him and kisses him, sliding her tongue into his mouth and caressing his tongue with hers.
As Ned lifts her up, she wraps her legs around his waist as he enters her. She moans.
Ned: (moaning) �Oh, Lex... that feels so good.... Alexis...�
Just then, they hear the door squeak as it opens. They both fall silent.
Kimberly: �This is such a beautiful restaurant. I wish Scott would take me here.�
Bobbie: �I know. Jerry and I came here once.�
Ned and Alexis continue to make love, trying to keep silent.
Kimberly: (groaning) �I can NOT believe that Ned and Alexis walked in on me and Scott in the minister�s office.�
Claire: (laughing) �It was your fault that you were in there to begin with.�
Kimberly: �Thanks, Claire. Go ahead and side with them.�
Claire: �I was just thinking that this is right up there with you know who in Mexico.�
Alexis looks at Ned, panicked. He puts a finger to her lips and begins to caress her breasts. She fights to keep from moaning.
Bobbie: �You two are in for a lot of teasing from those two.�
Kimberly: �I know.� She smiles. �I just wish that they would get caught by us having sex in some public place so I could tease them.�
They finish fixing their makeup and then leave. As the bathroom door swings shut, Ned and Alexis breathe a sigh of relief.
Ned: (caressing Alexis) �Do you know how good you feel?�
Alexis: (as he backs up against the stall door) �You feel so good inside me, Ned.�
Ned: �Can you imagine what would happen if they knew that we were in here?�
Alexis: �I don�t want to think about it.� She smiles. �Shut up and kiss me.�
Ned eagerly responds to her request, and they continue to make love.
Out on the dance floor.
Stefan: �Christabel looked so adorable as a flower girl.� He smiles. �It�s hard to believe, but she really does look like you.�
Mackenzie: �She does? But I�m not even her natural mother.�
Stefan: (spinning her around) �She has your eyes. It�s uncanny.�
Mackenzie: �I love that little girl so much.� She looks around. �Speaking of her, where is she right now?�
Stefan: �She�s dancing with Nikolas.� he smiles over at them.
Mackenzie: �I never thought of myself as a maternal person before.�
Stefan: (teasing) �But wasn�t that your maternal side that helped Helena kidnap Alexis and then bombed a house in Greece?�
Mackenzie: �Very funny.� She smiles up at him. �What I mean is that being a mother to Christabel has changed my outlook on mothering and children in general.�
Stefan: �Mackenzie, I want to have a baby with you.�
Mackenzie: �And I want to have one with you.�
Stefan: (in a low voice) �So, Mrs. Cassadine, does this mean that we�re trying?�
Mackenzie: �I believe so.� she leans up and kisses him gently. He kisses her back.
Just then, Alexis and Ned come back into the ballroom, holding hands. Their clothes are somewhat rumpled, but neither of them seem to have noticed.
Stefan: �Those two look... excited to be alive.�
Mackenzie: (smirking) �I wonder where they have been all this time.� She grins. �Let�s go bug them.� She drags Stefan across the room to where Ned and Alexis are sitting. �Hey, guys, how are you doing?�
Alexis: (distracted) �Oh hi, Mackenzie.�
Stefan: �May we join you?�
Ned: �Of course.�
Mackenzie: (sitting down) �So, where have you two been for the last fifteen minutes?�
Alexis: �We were in here... dancing...�
Mackenzie: (grinning at Stefan) �Sure. I believe you.� She starts laughing. �So, where were you two making out?�
Ned: (blushing) �We were not making out, Mackenzie!�
Mackenzie: �Than why are your clothes in serious need of ironing?�
Stefan: �Surely that couldn�t have happened by dancing.� He grins amusedly.
Alexis: �Well, I...�
Just then, the waiters wheel out a five layer wedding cake. It is a magnificent white frosted cake with maroon frosting roses.
Everyone goes to stand at the cake as Julia and Jax slice the first piece together. Jax feeds Julia a piece, smiling lovingly at her.
Then Julia picks up a small piece. She smiles innocently and then smashes it in Jax�s face. Everyone begins clapping.
Mackenzie: (yelling) �You go, Sis!�
Julia grins at her sister as Jax wipes the frosting off his face.
Mackenzie: (raising her wine glass) �As the maid of honor, I have a toast to make.� She pauses for a moment. �To my beloved big sister, Julia, and her wonderful husband, Jax. You two deserve nothing but the best for the rest of your lives, and may you always be this happy.� She pauses again. �I�ve only known you for a little over a year, Julia, but it feels like we have been sisters our whole lives. You have brought a lot of happiness into my life, and although I can never replace Brenda, always remember that I am so proud of you, and she is too.� Her eyes become teary. �To my sister, Julia, and my brother-in-law, Jax. I wish you eternal happiness.�
Everyone: (raising their glasses) �To Julia and Jax.�
Jerry: �Now it�s my turn.� He raises his glass. �Jax, my little brother, I know that you�ve been married before, but as I see you standing here with Julia, I know that you are the happiest that you have ever been. When we were kids, you were always my shadow. But now that we have grown up, you have become a strong and independent man. Jax, I�ve always given you a hard time, but you have no idea how proud I really am of you. You always treated me like I was a hero, but in truth, you were always the better man.� He smiles, his voice a little choked. �And Julia, I welcome you to the Jacks family, I hope that we won�t drive you too crazy, but I can�t promise that Dad and Lady Jane won�t go crazy over the twins and try to move in with you. I love you both. To Julia and Jax. May your lives be filled with happiness.�
Everyone: �To Julia and Jax.�
Avery: (yelling) �What about the cake?�
Ned and Alexis look mortified. Everyone starts laughing.
Jax: �And now, in the words, of my adorable niece, it�s all about the cake.�
Everyone starts laughing as the waiters begin cutting and serving the cake.
An hour later.
Julia: �All unmarried women, it�s time for the bouquet! Come on out here!�
Claire, Emily, Morgan, Maxie, and a bunch of other women come out on the floor.
Julia: (her back to them) �One... two... three...� she throws it.
The bouquet lands in Emily�s arms. She looks shocked.
Jax: (helping Julia over to a chair to put her leg on) �And now, for the garter...�
Nikolas, Gregory, and a few other men head out to the floor.
Jax throws the garter. Nikolas catches it. He looks even more shocked than Emily.
Alexis and Mackenzie start laughing. Stefan just shakes his head.
Julia: (as she and Jax head for the door) �We�ll see you all in two weeks!�
Everyone follows them to the front of the restaurant and waves as they get into their limo and drive away.
Ned: (taking Alexis� hand) �And now, for our Valentines Day celebration. Are you ready to go home?�
Alexis: �Lead the way.�
An hour later. The Ashtons� House.
The whole living room is bathed in candlelight.
Alexis: (sitting down next to Ned on the couch) �That was a beautiful wedding.�
Ned: �Almost as beautiful as ours.� He smiles. �I can�t believe that this year will be our fifth wedding anniversary.�
Alexis: �Where has the time gone?�
Ned: (taking out a small box and giving it to her) �Happy Valentines� Day, Alexis.�
Alexis opens the box to find a pair of sapphire earrings. Her mouth drops open.
Alexis: �Oh, Ned. I love them.� She smiles at him. �And you know that I love ice blue.�
Ned: �I�m glad that you like them.�
Alexis: �I have something for you too.� She reaches behind the couch and pulls out a box. She hands it to him. �I hope you like it.�
Ned opens the box to find a picture in a silver frame. It is of a little girl sitting on a rock, overlooking the beach. The seven year old girl has long auburn hair and a familiar smile.
Ned: (whispering) �Alexis? This is you, isn�t it?�
Alexis: �Happy Valentines Day.�
Ned: (tears in his eyes) �You were so beautiful.� He smiles. �I mean, you still are, but I always wanted to know what you looked like when you were little. Where did you get this?�
Alexis: �Stefan found it and gave it to me. It�s about thirty years old.� She smiles. �I thought that you might like to have it.�
Ned: �I�ll treasure it always.� He pauses. �This is the best gift you could have given me.�
Alexis: �Are you sure you wouldn�t like another piano or something?�
Ned: �Of course not.� His voice is low. �I love it.� He gazes adoringly at the picture. �But speaking of piano, I have another gift for you.� He gets up and leads her to the piano. �I started working on it a few weeks ago.�
Alexis stands at the side of the piano, watching him, as he sits down and begins to play a beautiful opening to a song. He opens his mouth and begins to sing.

Ned smiles at her and raises his eyebrows as she runs off.
Five minutes later, Alexis reappears, wearing a long sleeveless satin nightgown. The red gown has a long slit up the side and shows cleavage. Ned is practically drooling as she goes to the piano and climbs onto it. She hits play on the CD player with the remote.
Instrumental music blares out and Alexis begins to sing in a sweet alto voice.
