Digest: How did you become friends?
Kirsten Storms: She was our third Mimi. Each casting session that we had, I'd read with Mimi's and when Farah came in, Tom Langan [Executive Producer/Head Writer] was here casting. We just kind of got into a conversation while he was talking to the casting director, and then Farah left the room and he goes, "Do you teenagers talk to each other like that normally?" I said, "Yes, she's cool" It was weird, though. I dont think we talked for about the first two hours that she was here on her first day..."
Farah Fath: I don't remember that!
KS: ...but then we just started talking and talking. If we don't see each other everyday, we call or talk to each other over the internet.
Digest: Who do you think are better friends, Kirsten and Farah or Belle and Mimi?
KS and FF: (simotaniously) Kirsten and Farah.
KS: Belle and Mimi have rough points.
FF: There's tension between Belle and Mimi.
KS: Farah and I would never, ever fight over Jason Cook [Shawn]. [laughter]
FF: Oh, Okay!
Digest: Kirsten, If Farah liked a guy, would you consider him off-limits?
KS: We dont have the same taste in guys. I dont think.
FF: Not completely.
KS: I mean, we find the same guys attractive, but the weirdes thing is we usually come upon a pair of friends.
FF: We always do that.
KS: And we always pick. She'll pick one and ill pick the othere. And we'll agree.
FF: We're always interested in best friends, I don't know why. It's weird.
Digest: A little double dating there?
KS: We try to do that, it's fun.
FF: It;s more comfortable.
KS: You can always ditch the guy, and you have someone else to hang out with if it deosn't go well.
FF: Seriously.
Digest: Who do you think your characters should be paired with romantically?
KS: I think it woudl be interesting to see Belle with Philip. Well, first of all, Jay Johnson- cutie. Okay?
FF: But basically we all know it's going to be Belle and Shawn. We all know it's going to be Chloe and Brady. Who does that leave Mimi with? Philip.
KS: No, Philip is mine! I went up to Ken Corday [executive producer] at the 35th anniversary party, and I said, "You know, I'd really like to see Belle with Philip." And he goes, "Kirsten, everyone [in] the cast would like to see themselves hooked up with Philip." I was like, "Okay, its not even the fact that it's Jay, it's just Philip-he's so cute!"
FF: Yeah, right. It's all about Jay.
KS: it's all about Jay...I think it would be kind of funny it Belle was hooked up with Aaron's (Van Wagner' character, Jason). That would be classic...
FF: ...good girl with bay bot. Oh, my gosh, that would be so funny.
Digest: Belle and Mimi have disagreed in the past over Chloe. Let's say Farah absolutely despised someone who was your friend, Kirsten. What would you do?
KS: It's happened before.
FF: Nuh uh, I've always liked your friends.
KS: There were people...
FF: One of your friends didn't like me.
KS: There have been situations where friends of mine, who won't even know her, will all of a sudden decide that they don't like her because I've become so close to her.
FF: They thought I was stealing her away.
KS: But things happen for a reason. It made me realize that there are certan friends i shouldn't be hanging out with anymore becuase if they were going to get jealous over stupid things like that and say bad things about her when they didn't even know her, then I wasn't meant to be friends with them.
