| Back in 1999, my life changed dramatically. This was one of the worst times in my life. Mum and Dad took me to visit my new friend Dawn. Then Mum started crying and they gave me lots of cuddles then left! They didn't take me with them and they didn't come back and get me! Dawn was very nice to me but I missed my human family so much that I cried all the time and I tried to get out and find them but I didn't know where to start looking for them. Then, my Aunty Leigh came and took me to stay with her and Harley. This was better but I still missed Mum and Dad too much. Then, one day, some strange people took me from my Aunt's house. This was all very scary and very confusing. They put me into big, shiny thing with wings. It got very noisy and we started moving. I didn't know what was happening and the next few days of my life are a bit of a blur. After a long, long time, I was finally taken out of the big shiny thing and allowed to walk a little. The people here all sounded funny. A few days later, I was put on another one of those shiny things. When my journey finally came to an end, I was left in my crate in a big shed. That's when I heard them. I couldn't believe it! After all this time, I could hear familiar voices. It was my Mum and Dad! This is the happiest day I can remember. My Mum was all happy and crying. They took me to a car and we drove "home". |
