Life in Mississippi
Home
In June of 1999, I moved to the USA to continue my training.  I took a job in the Physiology Department at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson , MS.  I never believed that I would suffer from culture shock moving from Australia to the USA but I was completely wrong.  There were not really any big differences but there were so many little differences that they all added up to one huge difference.  Although I found it difficult to feel at home in MS, I did have a lot of good experiences.  Click on the links below to capture a glimpse of my life in MS.
