I received my A+ because I have actually made some modest achievments in my English writing skills. Previously, I had a hard time organizing my thoughts towards writing in a clear and detailed way. I also used to make some regular basic grammar mistakes, which irritated the readers, from time to time. During this semister, however, I have worked on my problems. My writing was improved to a significant degree. This class not only gave me an A+ but also helped me a lot in preparing for college essays.
The first and the most important achiement in this class is that I learned to organize my thoughts more clearly and stylishly. i always had many thoughts and ideas that I wanted to express, yet I was poor in organiznig them. The ideas which seemed beautiful in my head became messy lines on paper. I desperately needed to learn how to make clear structures, for otherwise, my college application essays would be messy as well and the admission officers would not be able to understand what I meant to say. Your detailed comments on my essays' structures, and on the essays as a whole, heled in enhancing my ability to organize my thoughts.
Another improvement I made was to reduce my grammar errors so as to express myu thoughts moer clearly. Some grammar errors I used to make were basic ones-articles, subject-verb agreements -, which could be removed simply by revising. Yet, some errors, especially tense problems(when to use to have, had, etc..) had really troubled me. These tense errors would often confuse the readers, but I could not help making these errors, for I myself did not have a clear understanding of the grammar. Also, my sentences had some vague references which made my essays obscuer. These problems have been reduced a lot during this semister. I believe that your corrections have helped me very much.
