BAKER, HENRY G., lawyer, jurist, was born Sept. 22, 1857,
in Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of twenty-one he was elected
justice of the peace and ten years later was elected probate
judge of Defiance county, Ohio. He was appointed by the
governor as commissioner to the Columbian exposition for
Ohio.
