Summary of Experience

Over 12 years experience coaching soccer at various levels of play including both recreational and classic soccer, specializing in individual skills development, team tactics, conditioning, and goal keeper training.  Very focused on the development of players in the mental and teamwork aspects of soccer.  Has had particular success in helping players successfully transition from recreational soccer to classic soccer, as well as, preparing classic soccer players for the transition to high school soccer.

Performing several roles within the club at both the team and individual levels.

 

 

SSC Eclipse – U13 Girls (2007)

 

Co-coach with Marcel Mubikayi.  First year with the team.  The team placed 1st in Division 2, and made it to the semi-finals of President’s Cup.  All of this was performed while maintaining a good working relationship with all players and parents.

 

Team France – U12 Girls (2004)

 

Co-coach with Marcel Mubikayi.  Responsible for developing players on the third team at the age group, consisting mostly of first time classic players.  This was a first year team for the club at U12.  The team placed 3rd in Division 1, and won President’s Cup.  All of this was performed while maintaining an outstanding relationship with all players and parents.

 

Team France – U13 Girls (2005)

 

Co-coach with Marcel Mubikayi.  Second year with the same team.  The team placed 3rd in Division 2, and won President’s Cup for the second year in a row.  All of this was performed while maintaining an outstanding relationship with all players and parents.

 

Team France – U14 Girls (2006)

 

Co-coach with Marcel Mubikayi.  Third year with the same team.  The team placed 1st in Division 2.  All of this was performed while maintaining an outstanding relationship with all players and parents.

 

 

Thunder – U13 Girls (2004)

 

·         Primarily responsible for working with Gus Araujo for training the team on speed and conditioning. 

·         Working 1x1 with the Thunder goal keeper improving footwork, ball control, and distance kicking.

·         Coached the team during the winter indoor season (2004-2005)

 

Extreme – U14 Girls (2004)

 

Co-coach with Michele Owens.  Responsible for developing players on the third team at the age group during the spring outdoor and summer seasons.  Primary focus is to prepare the players for high school soccer.  Additionally, assisting with player and parent management.

 

Fusion – U16 Girls (2005)

 

Co-coach with Marcel Mubikayi.  Responsible for developing high school aged players to prepare them for subsequent years of high school soccer.

Bandits – U14 Boys (December 2002 – August 2003)

 

Took over for existing coach at the end of the regular season (December 2001).  Coached the team for indoor, spring league, and conducted practices to prepare the boys for high school soccer.  All players that tried out for their high school team made the team.  Goal was to rebuild player confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork.  Additionally, performed 1x1 training with the team goal keeper.

 

Challengers – U12 Boys (May 2003 – November 2003)

 

Co-coach with Fadi Afash.  Responsible for developing players on the only team at the age group, consisting mostly of first time classic players.  This was a first year team for the club at U12 (most players at U11 stopped playing).  The team placed in the middle of Division 1, and won President’s Cup.
