| As you can see from this picture, Nigel needs to be in the middle of everything. He's a dog that likes (used to like?) to be the center of attention. In the past, this meant climbing onto his sister's lap as she sorted through papers, and then looking up at her with his "please don't ignore me" face. He just doesn't like anything else to take precedence over him. As a result, he tends to place himself strategically so that people cannot ignore him (usually in the worst possible location). As a result, we have to...crawl over him, almost step on him, etc. It's not all that easy to get around him as he's not a small dog. Nigel, however, tends to think of himself as a little guy...like when he goes up on his hind legs and lays across you when you're sitting in the recliner (or when he tries to squeeze himself into Ziggy's bed since his bed is already occupied)! He's definitely a lovable fellow! While he may not be AS tolerant as he used to be, he still lets his little brother Rocko teethe on him and even protects him when their mommy is running the vacuum cleaner. All in all, you couldn't ask for a better dog. Except, however, when he goes wandering. I think he's just trying to tell his mommy and daddy something - PUT UP A FENCE BEFORE ONE OF THE LITTLE GUYS GETS HURT. | |||||||
