| Well, I guess it's about time for an update. Opur little Johannes Otto was born on December 25th, 2006 in Clovis Community Hospital. He weighed in at just over 8lbs and 21 inches long. Seems so tiny comared to his currect weight at 4 1/2 months of 18lbs. He is quite the big boy. He's very strong and doesn't like to be told what he shouldn't be able to do. From birth he has preferred not to be wrapped up, as he loves to be able to grab things and touch everything. His preferred position has also always been standing, so he can see more. He has built up so much leg strength from Mom and Dad holding him upright that he's starting to master it himself now. He can't pull himself up, but if you stand him up and give him something to hold, he can stand there. He's starting to teeth now and it looks like both of his bottom front teeth are almost ready to poke through. We started him last week on rice cereal, which he seems to love. He lunges at the spoon whenever we feed him. He seems t be a very curious baby and loves to see everything that is going on. it is also obvious how curious he is based ont he fact he hates to sleep, he opens his eyes wider as he gets sleepier, as if the try to take in as much as possible before he falls asleep. |
