Family Update: December 2006. Jakob (age 22), achieved a monumental goal this year when he proved himself a capable and skilled worker by securing employment with a local company, Day and Night Plumbing and Heating. Mechanical repair and installation is a field which he loves and which will open important career paths for him later in life. His challenge ahead for the new year will be to continue pursuing that career as he moves from his home in the U. S. Pacific Northwest to the South Pacific country of New Zealand. His girlfriend for the past year, Lauren, grew up in New Zealand and together they have agreed to continue their life there. She has supported him tremendously by helping him to place more focus in his life and helping to perfect his talents and abilities.
