About Me
Howdy, my name is Lyndsay Taylour Giroir and I am currently a student at Texas A&M University and I am expected to graduate in December of 2009 with a B.S. in Agricultural Science. I grew up in Pasadena, Texas with my parents and younger sister. In 2000 we moved to Friendswood, Texas and I attended Friendswood High School, this is where I became involved in FFA. While in FFA I raised livestock and participated in LDE's and CDE's, I believe that this experience will help me as an educator. It was my senior year of high school that I knew I wanted to teach, I wanted to share my passion for agriculture with other people, and the best way to do that is by teaching it! I went to Jr. College for two years to obtain my basic courses and then transferred into Texas A&M in January of 2008! I currently hold the position of President of Texas Aggie CattleWomen, an organization that positively promotes the beef industry. Being President of Texas Aggie CattleWomen has taught me invaluable leadership skills that will greatly benefit me as I become a teacher. I am almost done with my coursework and after student teaching I will obtain my teaching certificate, graduate, and search for a job as a high school Agriculture Science teacher!
