The Spanish Harlem Orchestra is a huge part of Spanish Harlem. Spanish Harlem is largely known for it's talented orchestra. The Spanish Harlem Orchestra consists of Latin Musicians all from New York. The have been a huge success with their salsa music. They have visited many U.S. cities such as Chicago, L.A., Seattle, Rhode Island, Washington D.C., and Virginia. They have also traveled outside of the United Stated to cities such as Paris, Hong Kong, Japan, London, Dublin, Montreal, and Scottland. Spanish Harlem has been the birthplace for Salsa, Latin Soul, and Boogaloo. Spanish Harlem is largely responsible for the great success of Latin Music. | ![]() |
