There will be the option of trading draft choices before any draft (This does not include the Face of Franchise Auction - because there are no picks). All trades involving draft pick for draft picks or a player with no Major League experience requires no outside manager approval. All trades involving a player or players with Major League experience for a draft pick requires approval from the other managers in the league (based on the number given in the Trading Tool - most likely unanimous). The reason is because hypothetically, if you were to put two draft picks or the player without any Major League experience and the draft pick into the Trading Tool, both sides would have the same Major League experience on which the outcome is based - zero. Because of this, the trade would come out fair. On the other hand, any trade involving a player with experience would be weighed to his side and would make the trade unfair, needing outside manager approval. |
