DRAFT ORDER
The "Face of Franchise" Auction's draft order is decided either by drawing cards or numbered pieces of paper in a live draft, or by a more complicated system during the AIM draft (see "using the AIM draft" for details).  Once this order is set, it will stay this way until the Auction is complete.

Once the Face of Franchise Auction is complete, a second draft order will be created for the "Snake Style" draft.  This order will be created based on when and how many players a manager bid on and won during the Face of Franchise Auction.  The more players a manager drafted during the Face of Franchise draft, the lower his draft pick will be in the draft.  Also, the initial rounds of the draft are used to "even out" the rosters of all teams.  So for instance, if the last Manager to win a bid only had his one player drafted, and the next lowest amount of players drafted during the Face of Franchise Draft was 4 players, the Manager with 1 player would have 3 straight draft picks until the next manager was able to make a pick.  This will progress until all managers have the same amount of players on their roster and then the draft will continue in the normal snake style.

The order will be figured out by rounds based on the amount of players per team.  So "Round 1" is really "All Managers with 1 player on their team," "Round 2" is really "All Managers with 2 players already on their teams," etc. etc.  And so the draft hypothetically could look something like this.

Team 1 Auctioned and won - 1 players
Team 2 - 2
Team 3 - 2
Team 4 - 2
Team 5 - 2
Team 6 - 4
Team 7 - 4
Team 8 - 5
Team 9 - 6
Team 10 - 9 players bid on and won in the Face of Franchise Auction

Once thing to state here is how exactly "ties" in the number of players bid on and won are decided relative to draft order (for example, above, Teams 2-5 all have 2 players on their team).  This is decided by how early or late the manager won the player in the Auction.  THE MANAGER WHO BID AND WON A PLAYER EARLIEST WILL HAVE THE LATEST PICK.  And so in the above example, Team 5 bid on and won his player earlier than Teams 2,3, and 4.  And with that now stated, let's continue the example above.  Basically, the way to think how the Face of Franchise draft and the Snake Draft relate is that in choosing a player in the Face of Franchise Auction, you forfeit your earliest rounds in the draft.

Round 1 of the Snake Style Draft:

1.) Team 1 selects Player A
2.) Team 2 is skipped
3.) Team 3 is skipped
4.) Team 4 is skipped
5.) Team 5 is skipped
6.) Team 6 is skipped
7.) Team 7 is skipped
8.) Team 8 is skipped
9.) Team 9 is skipped
10.) Team 10 is skipped

Round 2: REVERSED

1.) Team 10 is skipped
2.) Team 9 is skipped
3.) Team 8 is skipped
4.) Team 7 is skipped
5.) Team 6 is skipped
6.) Team 5 selects player B
7.) Team 4 selects player C
8.) Team 3 selects player D
9.) Team 2 selects player E
10.) Team 1 selects player F

***Now Teams 1-5 all have the same amount of players on their team.

Round 3: REVERSED BACK

1.) Team 1 selects Player G
2.) Team 2 selects Player H
3.) Team 3 selects Player I
4.) Team 4 selects Player J
5.) Team 5 selects Player K
6.) Team 6 selects Player L
7.) Team 7 selects Player M
8.) Team 8 is skipped
9.) Team 9 is skipped
10.) Team 10 is skipped

***This same process will continue for the full 35 rounds of the Draft.  The draft order will both be sent to everyone's email and posted on this website before the Draft.
