Trade Between The Pain Train and Team Death DENIED

By denying this trade and I am essentially trying to take the path of least resistance.
a.) IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THIS TRADE DOES NOT HAVE TO ABIDE BY LARRYS NEW RULE, then I think the trade itself is unfair.
Clearly it has been admitted that the rule which allowed Matt and Chris to drop Ryan Howard's salary was a mistake - one that has been rectified by Larrys proposal. And so, I believe that this precedent has become irrelevant. We should not have to suffer the same mistake time and time again simply because we suffered it once before. And so, because of this, I am looking at the trade in terms of the Salary implications in addition to the players gained and lost.
I believe allowing ANY team to drop $7 in salary while simultaneously IMPROVING their team is simply too unfair an act to allow.
b.) IF YOU BELIEVE, RATHER, THAT THIS TRADE MUST ABIDE BY THE NEW RULE then I think that the trade has to be denied on different grounds for their own sake.
To me, not dropping Johan would, in my opinion make this deal acceptable (Meaning Neal keeps Crawford, Mags, and Buehrle and Chris KEEPS Johan, Hamels, and Chris B. Young). However, I am quite aware that the deal did not include Neal parting with Johan, and so to send this trade through with that being a requirement, on the grounds that the additional stipulation could not be fulfilled would be unfair to Neal, given that he did propose the terms of the trade before the proposal was accepted by a 2/3rds majority of the league. And so, I feel that it would be WRONG to allow the FAIR trade of Neal receiving Mark Buehrle, Carl Crawford, and Magglio Ordonez and Chris recieveing (and keeping) Johan Santana, Cole Hamels, and Chris B. Young to go through.
c.) Perhaps most importantly, I get the feeling that the consensus of the league - given no personal biased - would be just to start this deal over from scratch. Because 6 managers essentially rushed to get in their vote just so this trade would NOT go through speaks volumes to me. And so, I believe the safest bet given the feel of the league is also to deny this trade.
It is because of these three reasons that I believe a denial of this particular trade, given the circumstances, would be most beneficial to both the League as a whole and the parties that were involved. I believe starting from scratch within the new structure of the league is best at this point.
