The feat: By ruler and compass constructions,
he found the value of pi, at 355/113. That's
3.1415929, and differs from the correct value
only at the seventh decimal. A year later he
came closer with an oddity true to the ninth
decimal [(92+ 19 squared/22) to the 1/4 power].
Pi was used to build Solomon's Temple, but it's
older than form. Its history shows balance,
perspective, stability, reciprocity, directionality,
intention, and also contention in search of exactitude.
