Marking Time
You're on the roof with hammer and nail to make a siding repair; you go to drive the nail though aluminum into wood and you notice, you're not there
Nor is the nail there as it sinks gently into a hole not there yet awaiting its arrival
The not-there nail plunges deep through metal and into wood, yet none of that is there, either
The act is all, the deed is done and the notice makes a difference in the soul of the being who, not there, notices, and noticing reports the seeing, the feeling of being life, itself |
