Delight Deadly continued
Born conjoined to live together for 29 years, the twins died
finally separate, alone really for the first time ever.  For them
that was a blessing mixed, you may imagine, their bridge no
more uniting, yet not as expected, not as hoped.  Still they
rest free from the attachment that concerned them, holding
them back, spurring them on.  In the end maybe they met
with a peace known only to Those Beyond Attachment.

The blessing otherwise in all this, may be to notice The Twins,
not just in their remarkable death, but in their amazing lives as
partners amazing.  Their Union and Disunion rises as an odd
bipolarity of life worthy of notice, surely.  Their desire to see
one another face to face, without a mirror,  bears a monkish
intent of depth and nobility and high aspiration.

There and perhaps there alone you may notice too a path to
peace between Iranians and Americans as all stand shoulder
to shoulder in grief at the leaving of Laleh and Ladan Bijani.
Standing so and in grief, who needs to see eye to eye in
belief.

Too often different beliefs cause grief.  This could be a time
when grief can help all to set aside belief for higher ground,
a fitting tribute to let a death current show us a way to the
Life of Peace all need for the sake of the family human,
variously attached.  That would show, in a word, Delight.
After all, The Great Goal for all might well be to see face
to face apart from the facade of a mirror.
